What are some possible business models for funding development of The Machine or some of its modules?
Perhaps you could fund the engineering of a soap making machine by using the machines to sell locally made artisanal soaps made by a robot?
Maybe you could sell soap making machines to other people who want to operate their own boutique soap making business?
Perhaps for some other machines, like ones that grow food, you can get grants from governments and private groups to develop open source technology in the field?
Do we need business models to do this? Are there any problems with trying to commercialize a portion of this development?
